I am not from Vienna, as you probably all know, but I have done my research and have great sources (who I can't thank enough) and because of that I know using fake photos was normal not too long ago. Especially in the escort business the notorious JUST4FUN group used Playboy and Penthouse pictures and dominated the Vienna Escort scene for much too long. It's recent that honest providers took over. Really recent.
Thanks for this piece of info, i was not aware that fake pics use to be the norm in Vienna, although i have noticed that there are still a bunch of agencies that use fake pictures.
One thing that guys who spend a lot of times in countries where fake pics are not common(for example Hungary, almost every single pic on their main website of 1000+ girls is real and they even offer a reward if you manage to find a fake pic) forget is that in this industry as a whole real pictures are the exception and not the rule. This is especially true for countries where prostitution is illegal or unregulated, but also in some where it is legal Czech Republic being a good example(most escorts in Prague use fake pictures). Fake photos are used for a variety of reasons from privacy being the most benign, to outright malicious scams like in Romania where a fat ugly girl will come counting on guys refusing her and giving her "taxi money."
Luckily for experienced mongers, fake pictures are not that hard to spot which brings me to Zollgasse/Juchgasse. I agree that it is not their fault girls give them fake pictures, but it is their fault for uploading those pics to their website. If they see a girl when she comes to pay rent they can easily tell if it is her in the pictures she sent them or not, and even if they do not meet her in person at least they can reverse search her photos before posting them on their site, it takes 2 seconds. Sure if a pic doesn't show up after a search that doesn't guarantee that it is legit, but they can at least check since it is very embarrassing for a photo on your website to light up google image search results like a Christmas tree. Even more embarrassing if they are photos of semi famous models.
And by the way Zollgasse just made the same mistake again just a few days after deleting the fake pics of Andrea Sasu.
