Very good article. More or less I also agree with the reasons you wrote. Prostitution can be never banned, because people wants to have sex with prostitutes. So in case of official ban, sex workers will work in apartments and I see the exactly same problems that you listed. They can spread STDs and now corona virus, they will be in danger because of antisocial customers and so on.
I would not use the Nordic model, legal brothels have their own role on the market, they have nice and clean establishments, they hire security guards, order security cameras and more. I am happy with the current regulation and don't support any changes.

I don't really see a future where prostitution is completely banned. It's always been part of our history and it will probably remain so. Having legal brothels makes everyone happy, so I don't see a reason to ban it. Of course, there will always be certain groups of people who protest against it, but that's true for everything.
