The pimp problem is the biggest concern here, i think. If the guy behind the escort girl finds out youre trying to talk privately with her, he will not allow it. Also, getting banned at an agency that you like can also be a huge bummer.

Personally, I heard about some persons who were blackmailed by the escorts. The biggest mistake is to give your Facebook profile. This is the easiest way for them to find information in order to blackmail you.

I dont think that's how it works. An escort wont contact you "because she is interested in you". This is how they make money, and if you give them your number most of the time they would exploit it if there was a chance to get more money. Not all of them of course, but I think many would.

Huh, I've just found this topic because used the search for other reason. I never give my phone number to the escort girl, unless it is a reliable agency and the operator needs it. I heard about WhatsApp pimps a lot and this is mainly the primary reason (the other is the fear of STDs) why I don't book indie girls. So, it seems, this is another reason why it is safer to book girls at the best agencies in Vienna.

I strongly agree. With indie escort girls, you never know who's behind the scenes, there could be a criminal involved, and in that case, you are giving away your personal information. I always recommend the biggest Viennese escort agencies to everyone, where there can't be any issues. The chosen girl arrives on time, and if the original girl is unavailable, they notify you about the replacement, there's no annoying upsell, and so on. At least for me, this is what a good escort means.

I think the main and primary reason why you shouldn't give your number to any sexworker is to obey by the rules and not go behind the service provider's back. At some point you'll burn all bridges if you'll be made out as the guy who always asks for the escorts private number.
Other reasons are your own safety and while this is not that important to me, since I REALLY know my way around in the Vienna sex scene with my eyes closed, it might be most important to you, if you are a tourist or businessman who rarely visits Vienna. Reasons are many but those are the strongest:
- if the girl has your number, so does her pimp - you might have spoken to him all along on Whatsapp
- independent sexworkers are not known for being discrete. You might get embarassing cold calls or messages at any given point
- at some point you might become a mark and they'll try to extract more money from you without any service. Simply begging or harrassing you with emergency situations which only you and your money can solve. Don't forget: "Western Union is always open" is an old Romanian proverb...
