Brothel owner wins court case against city of Stuttgart - admin - 03-04-2023
A recent court case in Stuttgart saw a brothel owner successfully win the right to operate their business without having to meet certain requirements under the Prostitution Protection Act. The owner had applied for a permit under the Act in 2017, but the municipality had yet to make a decision.
The court ruled that until a decision is made, the owner can operate without having to carry out costly renovations to meet the Act's requirements. The Prostitution Protection Act requires businesses offering sex for money to meet certain requirements, including separate living areas for prostitutes and emergency call systems.
