Current situation in Vienna - RomanticCrayon - 01-26-2022

Can anyone tell me what the current situation in Vienna is considering prostitution? The last I heard was that everything got closed. Is this still how things are or is something allowed like escort?

I haven't really dug in too much recently, but I haven't seen any new info here on Sex Vienna. Hopefully we get some new and good information soon. Fingers crossed.

As far as I know the current law is that everything is allowed to be open up until 22:00, including brothels, but after that everything has to be closed without any exceptions. I've heard that they might extend this opening time to 24:00 in the nearby future, but I'm not sure if this will happen in Vienna too. Usually we get longer lockdowns and the restrictions are lifted later. I think that these restrictions will be lifted entirely sometime in February or March. Will post here if I find any new details.

I guess that's good enough news. Thanks for the notification, really hope we can put all of this behind us soon enough. Although I'm not exactly sure if everything can get back to how it was before all of this Corona bullshit.

Almost all of the current COVID regulations will be lifted in Austria by March 5. We expect (and already saw on few sites) that brothels will be open from March 4. After this date nightclubs, sauna clubs, laufhauses, studios etc can be open all night. Read more here: https://sex-vienna.com/2022/02/22/change-in-covid-19-regulations-in-austria/

Hello Everyone, it seems it is about time to return and discuss the newest things about Vienna sex scene. I've just written to few of the old forum buddies, hopefully they are good and will be back soon.

I didn't really have the chance to experience the sex scene in Vienna for a while now, so I can't contribute much, but it would be great to see what the situation is right now. Hope we get to see some fresh reviews and recommendations on the forum again. Always loved reading those here, even when I couldn't partake. I'll be sure to share my findings from my next trip which is hopefully going to be sooner then later.

Do you guys know anyone who had covid lately? I was sick 2 weeks ago, went to my family doctor and she made me a covid test and tested my blood. My results were negative and got just some antibiotics.

But I see more and more people who have a runny nose and are coughing around me. Also, I was yesterday in Interspar, and 1 of 10 people already wore masks, however, it is not mandatory. A month ago, I saw only 1 of 100 people in masks. Will we have again a very difficult winter, what do you think?

I seriously doubt that we are facing Covid Lockdowns again. Certainly people will get sick with Omicron and the flu dancing with each other in harmony in the same ballroom, so to speak, but this is not enough for the government to close anything down. Masks in certain indoor venues? Maybe, but that should be about it and nothing more.
Just my 2 Cents!

RE: Current situation in Vienna - supertotti - 11-05-2022

Who knows? We are in the middle of an economic crisis, we are in the middle of an energy crisis. I don’t know if the gas and fuel prices will be higher, but I am still not sure that the Ukrainian war will not be escalated. I just heard that Iran and Saudi Arabia might have their own war very soon, which would explode the oil prices immediately.

So, it is possible, that the economy will be much more important for the government than the lockdown. With covid, a few ten thousand people can be seriously sick, but if the economy stops, then the whole country will have serious issues. That is why I also think that there will not be any lockdowns this year.
