The sex workers in article say that they have 50% less customers than before, the first 2 workers at the beginning of the article say they had only 10% of the usual guests. They can't already pay the rental fees.
I think this will be real consequences not only for sex workers, but landlords, sex club owners, escort agencies and more. And the virus outbreak is not yet really serious. I expect more illnesses in next 1-2 weeks, maybe the summer or the warm second half of spring will stop the virus.
What do you expect in Vienna? I see more and more girls on websites who are away or on vacation, most likely they went back to Romania.

I heard that many business conference was canceled in Vienna too, including the annual Radiology conference. These conferences will be missing a lot, the hotels won't have bokoings, the brothels won't have businessmen etc.
I still don't understand how serious is this COV virus, but the panic is clearly seen in business.

I hope that its going to stop soon too, but I just can't imagine how it's going to end. I think until we have a vaccine for it, people will keep panicking. I don't see the possibility of people calming down if the number of infected people keeps rising. Especially with so many articles and other stuff online that's inducing the panic. We've had more serious viruses in the last decade, but none of them were this much covered by media, which I think is the main reason why so many people are panicking. Maybe if people see that many of those who get the virus recover shortly after, but I guess that's not what we are focusing on right now.

there is an article in the online version of HEUTE magazine. This is not known as a high-standard print newspaper but their take on it is fairly interesting none-the-less.

I'll not translate it but interpret it a little, rather...
At first they address the fact that people try to stay clear from Asian sexworkers because they are, of course, afraid to catch the virus from them.
The Asian brothels are allegedly "dead" and one of the owners of an establishment in Wien-Liesing states that she put all her Asian girls "on the street" because there is no work for them.
Another Asian brothel advertises that they "welcome clients with open arms and low prices"
A self-proclaimed insider who remains anonymous claims that there is a massive trend towards central-european ladies. Who ever only looks remotely Asian is a red flag.
Personally, I think it is nonsense, because this trend is not new at all and we didn't need any virus to see that trend.
Another Asian brothel in Wien Favoriten, which is the 10th district advertises that they have masks on sight if needed/demanded.
Under-cover researcher of the Heute Zeitung "reveals" what they call "unfortunate conditions" - for example at Goldentime, they reveal the unbelievable fact that they are no Asian ladies working there. What they don't say is that Asian girls hardly ever work in bigger brothels like Goldentime. Notz because of prejudice but they simply are not legal most of the time and a big club will not bother to let them work. HEUTE Zeitung does not at all address it that way. They also point out that there actually are no Asian ladies on the website which is not surprising seeing as there are absolutely no pictures of girls on the website at all.
Then they write some nonsense about Telephone sex which is safer, I will not get into that because it seems to just be a filler.
One YASMINE who allegedly has been working at a Laufhaus in Vienna is on vacation because of the "Corona panic". She is not earning anything for weeks and she can't afford to be "on standby for 24/7 for nothing" She would rather work as a waitress in some City bar in the center where she claims to at least earn 150 per night including tips. Good for her, I say - if you manage to earn that without being a prostitute, why not work that job full time?! Her Boyfriend seems to be happy about the new arrangement, she says...
Then they mention LH Rachel and the owner. Allegedly they promote their house by saying: "Don't fear Corona. All girls are clean. Come and see us at 09:00".
Sexdolls which are a think at LH Rachel might be the answer? No, they aren't bc more than anything, if not cleaned well after they are being used, they are a very dangerous carrier of the Virus for uo to 8 hours.
Asia Studio "Tuberose" in thge 5th district are very chill about the affair. "we have 3 Asian ladies who are all safe! You can also pick another girl, though, if you HAVE PROBLEMS!
Finally the article mentions the decline in business that all places seem to suffer from at the moment. Even if they don't usually have Asian sexworkers.
Babylon admits that the lack of tourists and business men results in bad business for the club.
Citystudio, which is also in the center of town, claims to have 50% less income than expected. The canceled congresses are what hurts every club the most.
Other prominent places like FP, Maxim and the Peepshow remain unnamed but also the best studios like Simply Top and Emotion Wellness. All in all, the article is well-written but it is bad journalism, in my opinion. I also do not see the point --- it achieves nothing except for some highly doubtful anecdotes.
But I thought you might be interested in it.

This is a sad thing and I also can't tell any advice to those Asian ladies. Because they look like Chinese, noone will give them work as waitress or receptionist. But it is also interesting that after being the sex business for a while, the ladies don't have any savings.

It seems the journalist only knew GT and did not hear about the other big clubs.

If you ask me you can get the infection from a "dead" doll easier than a flesh and blood human. But this is only my opinion.

What do you think, will the biggest clubs survive this easier than the small studios? Maxim, Goldentime, Funpalast, Bablyon - these clubs are considered as the top places in Vienna and they must have enough resources to continue the work. Even if they suffer, who will close the doors and let the girls leave maybe forever? It is very difficult to re-open a place, however, as we saw, Maxim was able to do it after the big renovation last year.

Personally I don't mind if there will be less Italian punters in Vienna, but if the girls also go home, the city will become a boring place. And what is going in Wellcum for example these days, what they can do without Italian customers? Can we expect that the Wellcum girls appear in Vienna?
