A lot of students lost their part-time work, because of the corona virus pandemic. A former bartender, Lucy was also unable to find new job so she became a sex worker. She told her story to a university portal and Sex Work Vienna wrote an articles, based on it: https://sexworkvienna.com/how-corona-dri...stitution/
What's your opinion? Is the situation same with Austrian or other countries' students?
We've just published 2 reviews about the same escort Girl. Her name is Francesca, she is a newbie in Vienna. The first reviewer gave her 0 points because she failed to appear. The second reviewer gave ther 9 points of 10. Do you also have experience with this Girls? Let us know!
It is quite interesting, at least the topic. First of all, the sex work scene was hit hardly in corona virus pandemic. Secondly, I also don't know that banning the sex work in Austria is a good idea. Even the idea is nonsense on a sex forum, but there are several reasons why I think this.
Austria has a very strictly regulated and checked sex scene, especially in Vienna. But there are a lot big brothels in other cities and near the Italian border as well. By having strict official control, we can have safe sex in clean and good brothels. The girls must have health check, and if we don't count the worst studios, the brothels are usually clean enough. We don't have to fear of pimps and other criminals but you all know these things as well.
At the moment I don't know any reason why to bann prostitution in Austria. Do you know any?
Half year ago a 27-year-old homeless woman had sex with a 36-year-old Czech man in an abandoned house. After the intercourse, she murdered her partner with a knife, but shortly was arrested. Now she got 18 years for murder. Read the details here: Woman in Vienna Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison for Murder
There are about 40000 female and male sex wokers in Germany (at least, registred), some of them got financial compensation because of coronavirus pandemic. The lock is over, and the life slowly returns to normal. But there are many prostitutes who still struggle in the country. Read our article here: The Situation in Germany Slowly Getting Back to Normal
We've just published an article about the current situtation in Switzerland. FIZ, the association dealing with woman migration and human trafficking tries to help the girls, but it can't do too much. The Swiss government pays some financial aid to people but most of sex workers are not allowed to get it. Most of them are temporary residents and have not gone through the 90-day reporting process. So they are now in huge economical crisis.
I've found an older post about a New Yorker reporter (Jeffrey Toobin) who was suspended from the newspaper for accidentally jerking off on a business Zoom call. Obviously he thought that he muted the mic and turned off the camera, but it was a mistake to do regardless. He was immediately suspended from the New Yorker and put on leave from the CNN network. Now he is back at CNN after 8 months of leave and he said that it was a moronic mistake that nearly cost him his career. For some context, he was working at the New Yorker from 1993 to 2020 and he was fired because of this accident. I think it was a harsh punishment for a one time mistake, but I also understand a news site of this magnitude doesn't want to be professionally affiliated with someone who jerked off on a business Zoom call. Here's the post if you want to read more: https://www.vice.com/en/article/epdgm4/n...k-incident
This gave me the idea to see if you guys suffered any interesting and/or awkward Zoom call incidents or if you can share any. I personally can't as I'm usually careful with these things, so I make sure to leave/mute a call when I don't want people to see what's happening here. Interested to read your stories.
Hello Everyone, I did not find any similar forum part here, if I am wrong, please delete my post. I want to work in Vienna as sex worker, most likely in a laufhaus. But I do not see any info on govermental websites when the bann will be lifted and sexclubs will be open again. The Kontakt Zentrum website shows this:
Aufgrund der aktuellen Corona-Situation, hat unser Haus ab 19. Mai 2021 wieder geöffnet. Über alle Corona-News werden wir Euch, immer aktuell hier informieren!
But I don't find any other info and on the other laufhaus sites I don't see any similar info. I am far away from Vienna and it needs a lot of money to plan the traveling, testing, everything costs a lot of money and it is very hard to do the necessary steps remote. Can anyone help me?
A new operator took control of the hotel recently and it seems, Romanian girls worked there as prostitutes. The police found seven women at 5pm and they also found few more Romanian documents as well. I think, after a year noone is wondering that the girls want to earn money for living. To be honest, the Austrian government did not do well the homework, at least, when we are talking about the sex industry. There were many public funds which wanted to help the prostitutes and gave them money for living, but it was not too much help.
The Sex Vienna portal published many similar news recently:
If you check the vote panel at the bottom of Heute article, there is a question: Do you visit sex clubs or laufhauses? There are more than 3000 votes, and 344 said that he visits such places regularly, another 468 said yes and 1337 said no. This means that the 1/3 of the men voters is a sex club guest. I can also confirm that there is a huge demand for sexual services, me and my friends were regular customers of one of the biggest sex clubs. You know which it is, I mentioned it a lot.
