I've found an older post about a New Yorker reporter (Jeffrey Toobin) who was suspended from the newspaper for accidentally jerking off on a business Zoom call. Obviously he thought that he muted the mic and turned off the camera, but it was a mistake to do regardless. He was immediately suspended from the New Yorker and put on leave from the CNN network. Now he is back at CNN after 8 months of leave and he said that it was a moronic mistake that nearly cost him his career. For some context, he was working at the New Yorker from 1993 to 2020 and he was fired because of this accident. I think it was a harsh punishment for a one time mistake, but I also understand a news site of this magnitude doesn't want to be professionally affiliated with someone who jerked off on a business Zoom call. Here's the post if you want to read more: https://www.vice.com/en/article/epdgm4/n...k-incident
This gave me the idea to see if you guys suffered any interesting and/or awkward Zoom call incidents or if you can share any. I personally can't as I'm usually careful with these things, so I make sure to leave/mute a call when I don't want people to see what's happening here. Interested to read your stories.
